I take particular care while beading to be in a good frame of mind. It was one of my first teachings in the practice: ‘You put a piece of yourself into everything you make. Be sure you aren’t creating with negative energy, because that will affect anyone who wears what you make.’ There have been weeks, months, and years I haven’t beaded, because I take this teaching very seriously. When not beading, I create through journaling, baking, and playing D&D.
I recently moved to town with my fiancé and two cats. We’ve been loving the ready access to the outdoors compared to the city. I have been visiting forests each week and look forward to each new adventure out.
