Become a Friend

We invite you to become a member of the “Friends of the Campbell River Art Gallery (CRAG)”

The Friends of CRAG is about philanthropy, community building, fostering the arts and enjoying cultural experiences together.

The funds generated by the “Friends” will provide scholarships for children and adults, and sponsor exhibits by local artists. They will also enable artists from outside Campbell River to ship their art for shows and to attend the opening of these shows. In addition, these funds will help pay for acquisitions for the permanent collection.

Benefits of Being A Friend
There will be cultural and social events where friends can share their enthusiasm for art, the CRAG, and to have fun together. The number and nature of these events will be determined by the interest and enthusiasm of the group.

These activities may include:

1. A membership meeting each spring in the home of a “Friend” for refreshments, art and music.
2. An accompanied art tour outside Campbell River with lectures, special receptions at art galleries and museums, private collection viewing and studio tours for Friends of CRAG only.
3. An evening with a notable art expert.
4. Opening night receptions.

How to become a “Friend”
For as little as an individual commitment of $150 (Silver), $300 (Gold), or $500+ (Platinum) a year for three years, you can help out your community, your art gallery, and join in the fun! A special rate is available for couples, at $250 for a combined Silver membership or $500 for a combined couple gold membership.
