We offer a wide assortment of contemporary art-making experiences, from school
programs and classes in our studio, to Super Saturdays for family groups.

Super Saturdays: 1-3 pm
Families gather to try out a different art-making activity at every
event, assisted by our staff and artist volunteers. Admission is by
donation and all materials are included. Activities range from
individual works to large collaborative sculptures and murals.

Children's Art Classes
Classes and workshops for ages seven to 12 years are available with a variety of instructors, year-round. Check the downloads column for the current schedule.
Teen Art Classes and Workshops
Teen classes in manga and animee cartooning are popular. Painting, drawing and other classes are also available. Check the "downloads" column for the current class list.

Adult Art Classes
Classes and workshops are offered throughout the week in a range of
media, from watercolour to acrylics, drawing, fiber arts and
mixed media. Our classes are instructed by professional artists, who
offer programs for different skill levels.

Artist Trading Cards
Trade unique and personal artistic statements with fellow art card enthusiasts,
who create pieces in a 2.5 x 3.5 inch format in various mediums. Artists meet
quarterly to swap with fellow participants.
Cards can be made from virtually any materials and by any methods. No age
limit for this event - the more the merrier! Call 250-287-2261 or e-mail

Bursaries are available for those who need financial assistance, thanks to the
Friends of Campbell River Art Gallery.
