Angela Hanuse
Angela was born in Duncan, B.C., and has lived in Campbell River for the last
forty years. Her studies in art took her to courses with Joyce Kamikura, Brent
Heighton, Brian Johnson, and Carol Barnes, and her schooling was at North Island
College in Comox and Central Technical School in Toronto.
Angela has been a member of the Art Council and Art Gallery and has donated work
for different events put on by these organizations in the past. She believes
very much in supporting her community.
Angela’s first love is watercolor, although she works in all mediums. She taught
art classes at the Campbell River Art Gallery, and the Workshop Gallery in
Toronto, and enjoyed showing children some of the techniques she learned over
the years.
Currently, between travels, Angela paints in her studio and has prints of some
of her pieces done by Art Ink in Victoria. These prints are available by
contacting Angela at
getin2it@shaw.ca. She also enjoys making cards which she
sells at the Gallery and Dolphins Resort. You may view Angela’s work on
her web page. Her work has just been chosen to appear in the
hard cover Best of Artists Worldwide.
